Thank You Diana Nightingale!

By Sherman Ragland | July 2, 2007

Well – It’s still two days away, but it seems that everyone else has already started celebrating my 45th Birthday.

Sherman Get’s Birthday Cupcakes 2 days early…
Tonight a group of friends in my private coaching group took me out for a dinner cruise aboard the Lady Lynsey, the famed super deluxe catamaran, owned by the Ritz-Carlton(r) hotel in St. Thomas.

Sherman and The Gang On The Lady Lynsey

In addition to my private coaching group, we were joined by none other than my friend Diana Nightingale, wife of my hero Earl Nightingale, author of the Strangest Secret, and co-founder of Nightingale-Conant. Diana gave a wonderful speech on just how important the underlying concepts and the message of the Strangest Secret are today, well over 50 years after Earl Nightingale recorded his famous “talk” for his team at his insurance company, just so he could go on a fishing trip.

If you have never heard the story about how the Strangest Secret became the single most important self-development message of all time, then I encourage you to go to http://www.EarlNightingale.com the message is incredible enough, but how it came to be so widely heard is even more fascinating.

It just amazes me how such powerful ideas can come into being in the most unlikely ways.

What made the entire event even more special is that at the end of her remarks, Diana was so kind to present me with a very, as in only one in the world, edition of some of Earl’s recordings that have NEVER been released to the public on my own personal iPod – SO VERY COOL. She is such a classy lady. What a very special gift.

Thank you Diana.
